Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

24 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience is required.

Trauma Level 1 experience is required from any number of months

3 months of experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a New York license

𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗳𝘁 & 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴: Holidays Rotating / Weekend Track / Weekends: Every

𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝘀: Must be comfortable and competent to care for ICU patients in the following environments: neuro/trauma SICU, MICU, CPS/VICU, CCU. progressive critical care unit (PCCU), and ICU/PCC patients in the ED and PACU awaiting bed placement.

𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹𝘀: Competency test required within 24 hours of submission, sent via candidates email. Please ensure an up-to-date email is provided at time of submission

𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁 𝗗𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘀: RNs with level I trauma center experience tend to do best in this team.

𝗙𝗹𝗼𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀: Experience floating to a variety of ICUs highly desired.
