Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Travel experience is preferred from any number of months.

Must have at least 12 months of Operating Room experience with 12 months within the past 3 years.

References

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:

• GGU: Must be able to circulate General/GYN/Urology/PV cases including bowel resections, laparoscopic cases, daVinci Xi cases, urology (open & scope), peripheral vascular, bariatrics, GYN (open and vaginal), c-sections, lap appy & lap chole.

• Ortho: Must be able to circulate ortho cases, total joints with or without MAKO robot (knees, hips, shoulders, ankles), arthroscopy & ortho trauma. Also c-sections, lap appy, lap chole and bowel resections.

• Neuro/ENT/Oral/Plastics: Must be able to circulate Neuro/ENT/Oral/Plastics cases such as: trach, ENT (T&A or BMT or FESS), plastics, breast reductions, spine fusions, laminectomy, crani, facial fractures, Laryngoscopy/Bronchoscopy, neck dissections. Also c-sections, lap appy, lap chole and bowel resections.

• Specialized in the following 4 groupings: -Ortho -Neuro/ENT/Oral/Plastics -CV-T (they also help cover Peripheral Vascular) -General/GYN/Urology/Peripheral Vascular.

Required Credentials:

• References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.

• Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility. Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.

Unit/Facility Details: All clinicians must clock in and out at facility.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Primarily 10-hour days (0700-1730), will also do 8-hour PM shifts (1500-2330) approximately 1 week every 5 weeks.

• Call: Will have 1 long call per week (Monday-Thursday).

• Will also have 1 weekend approximately.

• Holiday/Call Requirements: At least 1 holiday per year.

• Call response time: Call team 1 = 30 minutes. Call teams 2 through 4 = 45 minutes.

Floating Requirements: May need to help during day shift in our Outpatient Surgery Center department.
