Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit experience.

ASN completion required

3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

License

Candidates must have a New Jersey license or compact license

Certifications

BLS (Required)

NIHSS (Required)

ACLS (Required)

Vaccinations

COVID vaccination required. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Flu vaccination required. Medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

Failed fit tests due to facial hair and the inability to shave automatically disqualifies clinician from proceeding.

Required Skills/Experience: Strong experience in telemetry, stepdown/surgical, thoracic, & vascular stepdown. LVAD competency.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Education: BSN.

Required Credentials: CEU Contact Stroke 4 Hours. Telemetry.

Special Requests: No Block Scheduling requests.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend and holidays as scheduled are required.

Floating Requirements: Yes – To other ICUS Balloon pump, CCRT, ECMO Devices, Cardiac Outputs, SWAN, Chest Tubes, Post Cardiac Surgery Patients.
