Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Operating Room experience.

Trauma Level 5 experience is required from any number of months

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Alabama license or compact license

Certifications

BLS (Required)

ACLS (Required)

Vaccinations

Flu vaccination required. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:

• Strong experience in Trauma (no burns), Neuro, General, Vascular, ENT, General, Ortho spine, Ortho (must have total joint experience), Gyn, vascular (Endovascular as well), urology, robotics for both General and Neuro, Plastics, breasts, eyes

• RN: circulate only, experience in above case types

Preferred Skills/Experience: Prefer robotics experience (Robotic Mazor/DaVinci XI)

Unit/Facility Details:

• Parking: Parking deck

• Position is for General/Trauma specialty which backs up Ortho/Neuro/ENT

Shift & Scheduling:

• Weekend rotation: on call

• On call? If so, what is that schedule? 1 day a weekday, one weekend a month (Friday 3p-7a, Saturday 24 hours, Sunday 24 hours.) - 30 min response time

• Holiday Expectations: Expected to work a holiday per contract
