Required Skills/Experience:

• Telemetry, Cardiac Telemetry, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown, Interpretation and Management of dysrhythmias, Feeding tube care and management, Phlebotomy, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Tracheostomy Management, Isolation Precautions, Wound Care/Wound Vac.
• IV therapy/Phlebotomy, PICC line management, Starting and maintaining IVs, Work Settings, Gastrointestinal, Medications, Heparin Protocols, Manage Cardiac drips- no titration, PCA, Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry -on the unit monitoring, Professional Topics and Skills, Isolation Precautions, Wound Care/Wound Vac, Respiratory, Nasal Cannula, Oxygen administration, Oxygen tanks.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Previous Charge and Teaching Hospital Experience.
• Accessing/Managing Ports, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Neuro Stepdown, CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident), Pre/Post neurosurgery, Spinal cord injury, Traumatic Brain injury, IV insulin protocols, Titration of Insulin drips, Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, Renal failure, Surgical drains.

Required Credentials:

• Candidate must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms.
• References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Shift & Scheduling: 36 or 48 hours, Day/Night; every other weekend required.

Floating Requirements: Required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity.
