Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Operating Room experience within the past 4 years.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a West Virginia license or compact license

Certifications

BLS (Required)

Vaccinations

COVID vaccination required. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

Artificial nails are not allowed for any travelers. Failure to adhere could result in being sent home and/or terminated if policy is not followed.

Previous Employment Requirements:* Previous perm staff must be gone for 2 years before they are eligible to return in a traveler capacity. No exceptions.

If candidate worked a perm facility in the last 12 months, 1 reference must be from perm facility.

Required Skills/Experience: Experience in all areas of the OR.

Will cross train to Endo.

Preferred Skills/Experience: They just started using the DaVinci Robot so if your candidate has experience that is a huge plus.

Required Credentials: Roles requiring a state licensure only: Cannot have any licensure hits

All submissions must include a copy of candidate's unexpired Driver's license

Equipment Used on Unit: Baxter pumps.

Robots—Phillips and Dynomap

Unit/Facility Details: They have 11 total rooms 8 of them are OR Suites and 3 of them are Endo Suites and those take up about 25 cases per day of the 65 they see.

They see all types of cases except for open hearts.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekends as scheduled

Call in rotation.

Call now consists of one weeknight call every 4 weeks from 7pm-7am and one weekend shift call on either a Friday, Saturday or Sunday up to 24 hours per 3 month contract
