Travel Nurse (RN) - Surgical Intensive Care Unit

Additional Details:

Must have recent experience at a Level One Trauma Facility.

Please note that should you receive an offer for this position, you will have 48 hours to accept/decline.

Must be willing to fulfill a full 13 week contract.

Candidates should expect to work 2-3 of the 4 Summer Holidays (Memorial Day, Juneteenth, July 4th, and Labor Day).

Any RTO should be provided at time of submission to be considered.

Trauma/Surg exp required.

PA Lines exp required.

Trauma/Surg Unit, focuses on any type of traumatic injury including MVCs, penetrating wounds, falls, and many more; cancer surgery, liver transplants, etc.

Return Staff Policy: Gone for 90 days to return as traveler

License Hits: University of Kentucky WILL NOT accept any licensure hits. If you are submitting a traveler with a license hit, the submission will be rejected.

For this health system- we MUST know at time of submission if they have previously worked at this facility. This must be noted on the profile in order to check their eligibility for rehire. Rehire eligibility at UK is checked by HR every Friday and should this eligibility check come back as ineligible post-offer, your traveler may be cancelled. Please discuss with your traveler at time of submission and ensure they are aware.

NIHSS must be AHA, American Stroke Association, NIHSS, Apex Innovations or AACME
