Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Travel experience is required from any number of months.

24 months of Interventional Radiology experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.

References

No Block Scheduling Allowed

RN Pain Management / Interventional Radiology

Block Scheduling: Cook does not approve block schedules or special requests. All time off must comply with the RTO policy.

Call Requirements: On call rotation assigned on week basis M-F, 12am-8am. Weekends and holidays 24Hrs. On call is rotated through all nurses.

No holidays except for on call. Occasional weekend day needed 8a-4:30p

Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend/ 2 weekends per month

No RTO the day prior or after a holiday. No RTO on weekends.

Float Required:: Between Pain and Interventional Radiology. Cook County is a Mandatory Float facility. All resources are required to float as needed.

Scrub Color: Navy Blue. Not provided

Parking Cost: $2/day at Juvenile Temporary Detention Center (JTDC). A shuttle runs every 15 minutes between Stroger and JTDC

Holiday RTO: No holiday RTO. No RTO the day prior or after a holiday. If your traveler calls out on a holiday, the facility can cancel their contract.
