Recent experience at a level 1 trauma center is required.
No block scheduling.
Going guarantee 40 hours / week.
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
This position provides quality nursing care to both in and out patients in the Radiology Department.
Skills utilized in the position include assessment, communication, teaching, leadership and management of patient nursing care within Diagnostic radiology,
Special procedures, Fluoroscopy, Computed Tomography, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, Mammography and Magnetic Resonance Imaging. Must be qualified and prepared to handle all unexpected emergencies that occur during any radiological procedure.
This position is also responsible for the development of clinical protocols, policies and procedures governing radiological interventional procedures, patient monitoring and drug administration.
Must be familiar with patient's bill of rights and seek assistance from other resources when needed to ensure individualized care.
Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program.
