Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience within the past 4 years.

Experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Nebraska license or compact license

Unit/Facility Details:

L&D Beds 10 spacious, private LDRP rooms.

Patient Ratios: Couplet 1:3, Laboring1:1

Common diagnosis / Types of patients 32 weeks - otherwise with transfer out, no VBAC, mag sulfate, insulin.

Additional Notes Mothers labor & deliver in one bed. There is no nursery; newborns stay in bassinets in their mothers' rooms. Babies never leave their mothers' sides.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend Requirement Every 3rd weekend (could potentially be every other depending on need).

Holidays: One major and one minor.
