Additional Details:
A minimum of 1 year acute care experience is required to work in acute care facilities. The following are considered acute care facilities: Hospital (General Acute Care as well as Psychiatric, Specialized and Rehabilitation Hospitals, and Long Term Acute Care or LTAC), and Ambulatory Care Facilities.
RNs Only - All RNs are required to complete a Cardiac Exam during onboarding. RNs are allowed two attempts and must achieve a minimum score of 80% to pass prior to clearance. ICU and ED RNs will also be required to take an on-site test in addition to the online pre-test.\
Scrub Colors/Dress Code: Solid Navy.
Guaranteed Hours (24/36/40): 36.
Float Cost Center: Must be willing to float to units/hospitals.
Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals. Will accept 36 or 48 hours per week.
Holidays as required by facility Every other weekend required
Medical patients include dialysis and telemetry monitoring, along with other acute medical needs. Surgical patient populations include orthopedic procedures (fractures, shoulders, and backs) and general surgery (appendectomy, hernia repair, cholecystectomy, and colon resection).
Education - Required Associated degree in nursing
NURSYS
Experience - Required: 2 years experience; however, will consider 18 months of experience, working under the highest level of professional license, and must have 1 year of experience in the field of specialty.
