Required Skills/Experience: (2) years of clinical experience in Sleep Medicine as a recording and scoring polysomnographic technician/technologist. (2) years of clinical experience using a variety of Sleep Medicine equipment, troubleshooting and correcting recording artifacts. Previous affiliation or work experience in a similar practice setting. Baseline Sleep Polysomnography. Home Sleep Test. Seizure Study. Staging and Scoring. Arousal. Cheyne-Stokes. Complex Sleep Apnea. Hypopnea. Periodic Breathing. PSG scoring. Respiratory Events. Sleep Stages. Titration. ASV. BiPAP. CPAP. Oxygen administration. VPAP. Monitoring. Cardiac abnormalities. ECG. EEG. End-Tidal CO2 monitoring. O2 Saturation. Periodic Limb Movement (PLM). PSG. Respiratory Inductance Plethysmography (RIP). Mask Fitting: Full Face, Nasal Mask, Nasal Pillow. Additional Skills: TCo2. Scores sleep testing data with 85% or better agreement rate with the Medical Director.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Teaching Hospital Experience. Community Hospital Experience. Adult Maintenance of Wakefulness test (MWT). Adult Multiple Sleep Latency Test (MSLT). Newborn Polysomnogram with CPAP/BiPAP. Pediatric Maintenance of Wakefulness test (MWT). Pediatric Multiple Sleep Latency Test (MSLT). Trilogy Respironics / Respironics / Compmedics. Three (3) years clinical experience in Sleep Medicine as an RPSGT recording and scoring polysomnographic technologist. Two (2) year of experience in pediatrics as a sleep technologist. Experience using Compumedics diagnostic software, capnography, and advanced treatment modalities Experience performing MSLT, MWT and HSAT operations. Academic healthcare experience. Training and competency in RPSGT functions for neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations.
Required Credentials: Government issued photo ID required. Photo Identification must be carried on person during hours of service to client.
Preferred Credentials: Associate’s Degree in Polysomnography from an accredited program.

Previous Employment Requirements: Return Staff Policy: Both travelers and permanent staff must be gone for one year before being eligible to return as a traveler.
