Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Preferred 12 months of Psychiatric Unit experience within the past 12 months.

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license

Behavioral Health

An interview with the unit manager may not be available prior to offer. If you do not interview with the unit manager, you may interview with a third-party clinical nurse manager.

Required Skills/Experience: Desired Specific Skillset for an ideal candidate: Behavioral Health Experience, medical/surgical background

Preferred Skills/Experience: Minimum Experience (yrs in specialty): Prefer at least 1-2 year

Required Credentials: Associate's Degree or certificate

Preferred Credentials: Bachelor's Degree

Shift & Scheduling: Mix of 8hr & 12hr variable shifts

Weekend Rotation Requirements: Every other weekend

Holiday Rotation Requirements: holiday rotation

On call: Travelers may be put on call during low census in which they will get on call pay.

Floating Requirements: May float to Stevens Point Inpatient BHU if needed
