Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 18 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

Trauma Level 2 experience is required from the last 2 years

3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from any number of months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a New Hampshire license or compact license

Additional Details:

Recent experience at a level 1 trauma center is required. No block scheduling. Sterile Processing Tech only: Must have experience at a similar sized hospital (minimum 400 bed size) Surgical Technologist only: Must have Level 1 experience or comparable Level 2 experience (in a larger city/large bed size)

Required Skills/Experience: Must have Telemetry experience.

Lines/Tubes/drains for post-surgical patients
Trachs/Laryngectomies
Complex wounds
Central Lines – care and maintenance and blood draws

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Cares for primarily orthopedic and trauma patients as well as other specialties such as plastics, general surgery.

Unit/Facility Details: M/S Ortho/Trauma/Gen. Surgery

36 bed adult surgical unit

Shift & Scheduling: Rotating PM-AM / AM-PM
