Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 36 months of Step Down Unit experience.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a West Virginia license or compact license

Vaccinations

Additional Details:

Previous perm staff must be gone for 2 years before they are eligible to return in a traveler capacity. No exceptions.

Artificial nails are not allowed for any travelers. Failure to adhere could result in being sent home and/or terminated if policy is not followed.

If candidate worked a perm facility in the last 12 months, 1 reference must be from perm facility.

LPNs only: Must have previously worked on at least (1) a travel assignment with Trusted and have a reference from that assignment

Roles requiring a state licensure only: Cannot have any licensure hits

Stepdown/Med Surg - Required

Shift & Schedule: Weekend Requirement: As Scheduled - 3 weekend shifts per 4 weeks schedule

Holiday Requirement: Rotate/ eve or day

No Call

Required Skill / Experience: Step Down Experience

RNs required to titrate drips - Heparin, insulin, Cardizem, aminodarone

RNs read strips; monitored at Ruby

Unit Details: 20 Beds

Patient Ratio: StepDown - 1/3, Floor - 1/5-6

Types of Patients on Unit: Resp issues, weakness, UTI, AKI, chest pain
