Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Travel experience is required from any number of months.

Must have at least 10 months of Post Anesthesia Care Unit experience.

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Massachusetts license

Additional Details:

Shift & Scheduling: Shift will be 12 hour rotating shifts: Shift times will be 8-8:30p, 9:30-10p, 11-11:30p and 12-12:30a in a 4 week block, the RN is expected to be assigned to 5 or more later shifts

4 week blocks for each schedule.

Call is 2300-0800, one night on call shift per week. If called in, it is a min of 4 hours.

There are 2 night on call nurses each night, in case there are still PACU patients recovering or if there are urgent or emergent OR cases being done through the night hours.

Unit Details: There are 2 PACUs - Shapiro PACU is for Outpatients and Feldberg PACU is for Same Day Admissions or Inpatients.

Types of Patients on Unit: Expected to recover OR, IR, GI patient receiving anesthesia.

Previous Employment Requirements: Candidates must be separated for 6 months from BILH if previously worked perm, per diem or travel.
