Guaranteed Hours: 40
Monday - Friday
Weekend: Every 3rd weekend with up to 1 12-hour call shift each week
Will work holidays if they fall on a weekday
Will accept first time travelers if they have experience in home health and hospice
Permanent staff must wait 1 full year to return as a traveler
There are 3 primary field locations for this position – area served will be discussed during the interview:
**Patient Types: Home Health and Hospice
Patient Ratio: Approximately manage a case load of 20-25 patients
Required Education: Completion of a nursing education program that is approved by a board of nursing
Required Skills:
Hospice philosophy, infection control practices, wound vacs, wound care, picc line dressing changes, port access, IV infusions, drains, critical thinking skills, catheter insertion, drains
Ability to drive at night
