Requirements
Experience
18 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Must have at least 24 months of Pediatric Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit experience with 1 months within the past 12 months.
ASN completion required
Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 2 charge/lead references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license

Required Skills/Experience:
- 2 years Pediatric Cardiac ICU experience in a similar facility for acuity.
- Experience with fresh open heart post op patients; transplant experience, experience with the following devices: Aquadex (renal replacement therapy), Impella, ECMO
Required Credentials: ASN/BSN
Unit/Facility Details: Parking: Free? Yes
Special Requests: RTO: Manager approval
Shift & Scheduling:
- Weekend Rotation: 3-4 weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) within 6 weeks
- Holiday Requirements: Every other major holiday
- Call requirement: Yes, based on previous date
- Schedule cycle: every 6 weeks
- Shift times: 0645 – 1845, 1845 - 0645
Floating Requirements: Yes - PICU, NICU, Gen Peds – will float as needed. Ability/Competency to float to PICU – discussed during interview
