Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

12 months of travel experience is preferred from any number of months.

Preferred 12 months of Oncology Unit experience.

3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Connecticut license

Additional Details:

Shift & Scheduling: No Call, Every Other Weekend

Parking: Cost: $125/month

Types of Patients on Unit: Adult, Geriatrics

Unit Details: Number of Beds 28, Daily Census 25

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Hematology elective chemotherapy, medical oncology, surgical oncology, failure to thrive, small bowel obstruction

Special Procedures/Unit Details: Chemotherapy, small male population elective chemotherapy, primarily gyn oncology

Previous Employment Requirements: Return Staff Policy (must be gone 2 yrs to return as traver)
