Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Travel experience is required from any number of months.

Must have at least 12 months of Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit experience within the past 4 years.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a West Virginia license or compact license

Certifications

BLS (Required)

ACLS (Required)

TNCC (Preferred)

Vaccinations

COVID vaccination required. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Must have' skills: Current CVICU experience, CRRT, Impella and IABP required, minimum of one to two years of critical care experience

Unit/Facility Details: Ratios: 1:1 for initial phase, then progressing to ICU/ SDU depending on patient needs (1 nurse to 2 patients, sometimes 3 patients in the ICU)

Shifts & Scheduling: 6:45 am - 7:15 pm or 6:45 pm to 7:15 am

-Weekend Requirement: Every other

-Holiday Requirement: Rotational

-Is there a call or standby requirement? No

Floating Requirements: Required to float to ICU. If not needed in ICU, would be required to float to Stepdown.
