Travel Nurse (RN) - Progressive Care Unit

Additional Details:

A minimum of 1 year acute care experience is required to work in acute care facilities. The following are considered acute care facilities: Hospital (General Acute Care as well as Psychiatric, Specialized and Rehabilitation Hospitals, and Long Term Acute Care or LTAC), and Ambulatory Care Facilities.

Weekend Hours: every other weekend

Call Requirements: yes

Years of Experience: 2yrs acute care hospital

Float Requirements: yes to med/surg and ED/ICU overflow (care for PCU/Medsurg overflow patients)

Additional Notes: ED/ICU would only be to care for PCU or lower acuity patients. Unless they have ICU experience and feel comfortable in which case we would want competencies for ICU as well.

Patient Population e.g. “geriatric, adult, peds, etc.”: adult and geriatric

Must Have Skills/Experience: rhythm recognition, management of cardiac drips such as Cardizem and Amiodarone

Common Diagnosis/Treatment: CHF, COPD, A-fib RVR
