24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Travel experience is preferred from any number of months.

OB Tech - Required

Assignment for 16-32 weeks

Call required, weekend shifts every other min (as needed)

OB Experience is required

Work history needs to be from similar size facility, as well as trauma II or higher

Monday - Sunday

No block schedules for any reason

Bi-weekly Orientations on Monday, next is 11/02

This facility requires all work history information (bed count, EMR, facility type, etc.) to be complete in order to submit

Public Transportation is not accessible in this area, please ensure you have reliable transportation, personal vehicle or rental vehicle are strongly recommended

Vehicles should be equipped with all season or snow tires during the months of November

Clinician-to-Patient Ratio: 1/1

Days of Orientation: 1-2

Holiday Requirements: As needed-staff works every 3rd major holiday

Patient Population: All women in need of medical care and services pertaining to antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and gynecological non-obstetrical patients per NYS standards.

Pediatric patients include neonates up to 28 days old and Outpatient Lactation Services.

Age Range: Neonate (birth to 28 days of life), adult and geriatric

The Labor & Delivery staff is required to maintain EMTALA competencies, Fetal Monitoring Certification and competencies that are appropriate for their scope of practice. Appropriately trained ancillary staff provides assistance to RN staff.
