Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Travel experience is required from any number of months.

Must have at least 24 months of Emergency Department experience.

BSN completion preferred

Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Maryland license or compact license

Manager may or may not interview. Clinician must be okay with this. If Clinician has questions, please email the AM.

Required Skills/Experience: Within past 8 mo, candidate must have worked in an ED setting that has at least 125/day

Requires expert prioritization and organizational skills to manage a fast ER pace

Will do IV starts and Phlebotomy

Skills: CPAP/BiPAP, Ventilated patients, General Emergency Department-Combined Adult/Pedi, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Isolation Precautions, Triage, Phlebotomy, Starting and maintaining IVs.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Previous Charge Experience and Community Hospital Experience

Required Credentials: References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Candidate must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms.
