Requirements
Experience
24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Must have at least 24 months of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit experience within the past 4 years.
References
Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Washington license or compact license

Special Care Nursery

Required Skills/Experience:

• Traveler must be competent in couplet care in Post partum & can attend Deliveries.

• Level II NICU Experience

• Experienced with stabilization / attending high and low risk deliveries and transitioning newborns.

• Able to attend both high and low risk deliveries and care for neonates in the nursery.

• Experienced with postpartum couplet care to include experience with well newborns, and maternal care.

• Able to attend high and low risk deliveries and transition both high and low risk infants.

• Would consider NICU candidate that has experience in level 2 SCN and attend deliveries even if no PP experience.

• Will consider someone with 1 year of experience if they have multiple prior travel experience.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Postpartum Experience

Special Requests:

• An interview may not be available prior to offer.

• Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: Cannot have worked at any CommonSpirit location within the last 12 months.

• For positions that require radiation exposure, clinicians are required to purchase their own OSL Luxel dosimeter badge.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Weekend Requirement: Every Other. Friday and Saturday

• Holiday Requirement: Rotate in with perm staff.

• No call or standby requirement.

• Flexibility with scheduling as long as it meets the needs of the department.

Floating Requirements: May float to Mother Baby.
