Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Must have at least 24 months of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit experience with 9 months within the past 12 months.
3 months of experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 2 charge/lead references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license

BLS (Required)
NRP (Required)

Additional Details:
There is no shift differential for AM/PM.
Special Requests:
- No Block Scheduling requests. Any special scheduling requests must be made with Manager upon arrival at facility.

- All NICU equipment
Technology Used on Unit:
- EMR – Meditech & CPN
Required Skills/Experience:
- Infant assessment, IV management, Respiratory support management
Required Credentials:
- Level 4 NICU experience
- HCA experience
Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit:
- Typical procedures performed on unit(s): LP, central line placement, Circumcision, eye exams
Floating Requirements:
- All NICU areas, General Nursery, Pediatrics with infant assignment
Shift & Scheduling:
- Minimum of 4 weekend shifts and 2 M/F per 4 week schedule, holidays per unit guidelines
