Experience

36 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

Previous perm staff must be gone for 2 years before they are eligible to return in a traveler capacity. No exceptions. Previous travelers there for 1 full year must be gone for 2 years.

Artificial nails are not allowed for any travelers. Failure to adhere could result in being sent home and/or terminated if policy is not followed.

If candidate worked a perm facility in the last 12 months, 1 reference must be from perm facility.

Roles requiring a state licensure only: Cannot have any licensure hits

Guaranteed 40 hours per week

Shift: Mon-Fri

Department: Respiratory Therapist for the Outpatient Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehab Program

Experience in working in outpatient cardiopulmonary rehab setting.

Number of treatments per day: Varies; group sessions with max class of 9 patients per class. Pulmonary days are T-TH with 5-6 classes and Cardiac is M-W-F with 7 classes.

Type of Patients: Adults in outpatient setting for pulmonary rehab

Areas Covered: Outpatient

Experience or Must have skills: Minimum of 3 years in outpatient pulmonary rehab setting

Intubation is not required

No weekends or holidays

No call required.

Dress Code: Royal Blue Scrubs

Department Orientation: Cardiac and pulmonary Scott Care program and Epic EMR, facility tour, exercise equipment, etc.
