Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required from last 3 months.

24 months of Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit experience is required from last 3 months.

6 months of experience with Epic is required from last 12 months.

License

Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license

Certifications

BLS (Required)

ACLS (Required)

NIHSS (Required)

Vaccinations

COVID vaccination required. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Summa does not accept block-scheduling requests.

RNs only - Must have have graduated from an accredited nursing school.

RNs only- Will draw own labs- must have 2+ years or recent experience in drawing blood

RTO due at the time of submission.

Accepting block schedules on weekends only.

Candidates must be available Friday night through Monday night if they are looking for a block schedule.

Scrub Color: solid black.

Must be independent in obtaining labs and initiating IV's.

CVICU Skills checklist is required upon submission.

Ratios are usually 1:1 or 1:2 but can go up to 1:3.

Must have 2+ years of open-heart experience.
