Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Must have at least 24 months of Intensive Care Unit experience.
Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 2 references from any number of months in order to be considered for this role

Required Skills/Experience:

IV therapy, arterial line management, central line care/management, respiratory/thoracic, assist with management of BiPAP, assist with management of CPAP, care of ventilated patient, interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs), suctioning (ETT, NT), ventilator management, continuous IV sedation, titrate cardiac drips, titrate vasoactive drips, interpretation of dysrhythmias, management of dysrhythmias, management of patient with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, isolation precautions/PPE, computerized documentation, titration of IV vasopressors.

Special Requests: RTO: 5 days max with no more than 2 consecutive. No holiday RTO. No RTO the day prior or after a holiday. No RTO on weekends.

Shift & Scheduling: You must start on the start date specified for this job.

Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend/ 2 weekends per month

Floating Requirements: ICU RNs will float between numerous ICU units including Burn ICU, CCU, Medical ICU, SICU, Neuro ICU.

If needed to support staffing, ICU RNs may be asked to float to MS units.
