Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Must have at least 18 months of Progressive Care Unit experience with 1 months within the past 12 months.
3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Experience with COPD/Pulmonary Diseases, Heart Failure, Cardiac Arrhythmias, Renal Failure, Sepsis, ETOH/CIWA and IVDA, tracheostomies requiring mechanical ventilation, continuous BIPAP/CPAP, high flow nasal cannula, hypothermia regulation, and titratable IV drips, experience with trached/vented patients, temporary/transvenous pacemaker, cardiac gtt experience, cardiac rhythm interpretation, chest tubes, trach care, blood products, wound care/dressing changes, etc.

Unit/Facility Details: SimpliFi Clinical Interviewing- Yes. Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes.

Shift & Scheduling: On Call, Call Back Requirements None. Weekend Rotation EOW. Holiday Requirements Travelers will work 75% of holidays.

Floating Requirements Region 2 - Pineville, Anson, Union, Union West, Central Division (CMC Main + CMC Mercy + Levine Children’s Hospital). Floating:

  •   Within region and scope of practice
    
  •   Will be required to float per region needs – will require floating to all facilities listed below, as needed, within scope of practice – DECLINE if not agreeable
    
  •    Region 2 - Pineville, Anson, Union, Union West, Central Division (CMC Main + CMC Mercy + Levine Children’s Hospital)
    
  •    If floating mid-shift, Traveler will be paid for the time traveling between facilities (will remain on the clock)
