Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Travel experience is required from any number of months.
Must have at least 24 months of Electrophysiology experience.
BSN completion preferred
Trauma Level 2 experience is preferred from any number of months
References
Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a District of Columbia license

Required Skills/Experience: Scrub Exp. Must be able to scrub and work as an EP Tech for increased rate. 2 years of experience with telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation, and utilization of the following equipment: Cardio Lab, Medconnect, Zoll and Life Pak. Skills: Medications, Antihypertensives, Emergency Medications, IV vasopressors, Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring, Reversal agents, Electrophysiology Procedures, Baseline Measurements, Cardiac Ablation, Cardiac Mapping, Conduction Studies, Insertion/Programming of AICDs (Automatic Implantable Cardiac Defibrillators), Pacemaker Insertion, Tilt Table Study, IV therapy, Starting and maintaining IVs, Professional Knowledge and Skills, Circulate Procedures, Interpretation/Management of Dysrhythmias, Electrophysiology (EP) Lab.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Teaching Hospital Experience. Skills: Antiarrhythmics, Thrombolytics, Arrhythmia Induction, Left Atrial Appendage (LAA) Closure, Assist with Central Line Insertion/management.

Required Credentials: ID: Drivers License/State ID.

Unit/Facility Details: Parking: located on campus so there is no shuttle schedule to worry about after an evening shift.

Special Requests: RTO must be on the submittal and cannot be changed once the profile has been sent to the manager for review. No RTO the first two weeks of an assignment.

Shift & Scheduling: On Call/Weekend Requirement: Neither.
