Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.
BSN completion preferred
References
Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Maryland license or compact license

Required Skills/Experience: Telemetry, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias

Required Skills: Accessing/Managing Ports, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Starting and maintaining IVs, Chest tubes-Emerson/PleurEvac, External CPAP/BIPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Nasal Cannula, Oxygen administration, Oxygen tanks, Tracheostomy care/management, Continuous Bladder Irrigation (CBI), Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, Renal failure, Feeding tube care and management, Heparin Protocols, PCA, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry -on the unit monitoring, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams, Mastectomy, Surgical drains, MS/Tele, Telemetry, Wound Care/Wound Vac.

Required Credentials: References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Unit/Facility Details: MS/Tele for adults only

Manager may or may not interview. Clinician must be okay with this. If Clinician has questions, please email the AM.

Special Requests: No RTO the first two weeks of an assignment.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend

6 weekend shifts in 6 weeks per contract
