Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 12 months of Post Anesthesia Care Unit experience with 9 months within the past 12 months.

3 months of experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 charge/lead references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license

𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁 𝗗𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘀:

Number of Beds : 40

Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : HUC available 7:30-4; 4 PCTs scheduled each day and assigned to specific pods. Can draw labs, do catheterizations, and transport patients.

𝗘𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁:

Standard PACU equipment.

𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗳𝘁 & 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴:

6 week schedules at a time; 3 call shifts required within the 6 weeks.

Floating policy: Float within peri-anesthesia (Endoscopy/PreOp/Phase II).

𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀/𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲: Trauma experience, pediatric experience.
