Requirements

Experience

12 months of acute care experience.

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Surgical Intensive Care Unit experience with 24 months within the past 24 months.

ADN completion required

Experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Alabama license or compact license

PALS (Preferred)

Vaccinations

Flu vaccination required. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

CSU/CSICU (Cardiac Surgical ICU)

Required Skills/Experience: 2 years of recent CVICU experience is required.

Required Credentials: All RNs are required to complete a Cardiac Exam during onboarding. RNs are allowed two attempts and must achieve a minimum score of 80% to pass prior to clearance. ICU and ED RNs will also be required to take an on-site test in addition to the online pre-test.

Unit/Facility Details: Parking Available

Shift & Scheduling:

Will accept 36 or 48 hours per week.

Holidays as required. Every other weekend

Floating Requirements: Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals.
