Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Must have at least 18 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.
Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Missouri license or compact license
Certifications
BLS (Required)
Vaccinations
Flu vaccination required. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

RNs only - Clinicians who obtained RN degree outside of the U.S. and do not hold MO/IL/Compact license require extended licensing and compliance timeframe.

No medical marijuana cards accepted.

Required Skills/Experience: Skills: IV therapy/Phlebotomy, Colostomy care and management, Peripheral nerve block catheters, Total Joint Replacements, Surgical drains

Preferred Skills/Experience: Skills: Accessing/Managing Ports, Blood Product Administration, Central line blood draw, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Phlebotomy, PICC line management, Starting and maintaining IVs, Heparin, Insulin, PCA, Isolation Precautions, Wound Care/Wound Vac, Med/Surg, Nasal Cannula.

Required Credentials: ID: Drivers License/State ID, Government-Issued ID.

Unit/Facility Details: Parking Cost: Free in any unrestricted space, you will see signage directing you to employee parking on the right. You are going to the back of the hospital. Employee parking spaces have yellow painted lines.

Special Requests: RTO must be on the submittal and cannot be changed once the profile has been sent to the manager for review. No RTO the first week of an assignment.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend req: Every other weekend required. Is on-call req: No.

Floating Requirements: Will float between MS units. Candidates will float within hospital or to an affiliate hospitals near by.
