Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 36 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience with 9 months within the past 12 months.

3 months of experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Colorado license or compact license

Additional Details:

Preferred Skills/Experience: Mom/Baby, Peds and/or NICU experience

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Vaginal deliveries, c-section deliveries,

Delivery of care through nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Responsible for directing and coordinating all nursing care for labor and delivery patients, postpartum patients and high-risk antepartum patients.

Equipment Used on Unit: FHR monitors (Novii and GE), FSE (fetal scalp electrodes),

Technology Used on Unit: CPN

Unit/Facility Details: Number of Beds – 19 patient rooms, 6 PACU rooms, 6 triage rooms, 3 L&D ORs

Special Requests: No RTO or special scheduling
