Additional Details:

All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years

Required Skills/Experience: LTC Experience. Skills: Admission of Patient, Communication of patient status changes to RN/MD, Isolation Precautions, Vital Sign monitoring, Ambulation, Skin, Bathing: sitz, tub, bed, shower, Mouth care, Blood Glucose Monitoring/Testing, Medication Administration, Ear Drops, Eye Drops, NG Tube/G Tube, Oral, Respiratory, Face masks, Nasal Cannula, Oxygen administration, Gastrointestinal, Feeding tube care and management, Genitourinary/Renal, Foley catheter insertion female, Foley catheter insertion male, Orthopedics, Endocrine/Metabolic, IM & SQ, Subcutaneous..

Preferred Skills/Experience: Skills: Long Term Acute Care (LTAC).

Required Credentials: Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past. For LTC CNA, they must have a reference from LTC work experience. ID: Drivers License/State ID, Government-Issued Photo ID. Cert: BLS - Must be AHA (Instructor, Provider, or RQI) or “Heart&Stroke” certification from Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation only.

Unit/Facility Details: Parking Cost: Parking is free.

Special Requests: RTO must be listed at time of submission. Preference is for traveler's to be willing/able to work any holidays. All RTO must be sent with submittal. RTO will not be considered if requested after an offer or after signing contract.

Shift & Scheduling: 4x12 Variable (or 3x12 Variable - traveler's choice). Note that caregivers are not asked to rotate between night/day shifts (occasional exceptions for urgent staffing needs). Shifts will be either Days or Nights, but dependent on facility needs at time of start date. Duration: Traveler's Choice for 26 or 13 week assignment.

Floating Requirements: Candidates will float within the hospital or to affiliate hospitals near by.
