Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

12 months of travel experience is required from any number of months.

24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience is required, with some of it within the last 12 months.

12 months of Trauma Level 1 facility is required from any number of months

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Maine license or compact license

Certifications

Required Skills/Experience: Need at least a years worth of acute care experience within the past two years. One year of unit experience must be within the last two years. Inpatient acute medical surgical experience. Telemetry.

Types of Patients on Unit: Patient Ratios: Day shift- goal 1:4, max 1:5. Night shift- goal 1:5, max 1:6. Medical-Surgical including medical telemetry patients.

Preferred Skillset/Experience: PCA, epidural, wound vac, IV pumps.

Equipment Used on Unit: PLUM, Stryker.
