Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Endoscopy experience.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from any number of months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Iowa license or compact license

Additional Details:

IV Conscious Sedation experience required. Inpatient and outpatient EGD’s and Colonoscopies and some pulmonary cases (Bronchoscopies) but these are very low volume.

Cases are done with nurse sedation and some with anesthesia. Previous sedation experience required. Nurses rotate usually in the pre/post op area and procedure rooms.

We use Olympus brand scopes and chart in Cerner.

Provides high quality care and services to the following patient populations: Gastroenterology: Cardiac: Pulmonary: Pain Management: Neurology - Lumbar Puncture.

Estimated work week is 32 - 40 hours with variable shifts either 0600 - 1430 or 0700 - 1530.

Call required are typically one day a week and every 5th weekend on call with a 30-minute response time.
