Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Must have at least 10 months of Outpatient Clinic experience.
Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a California license

Additional Details:

All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years

Skills: Office Duties Pharmacy calls/patient refill requests Telephone Triage Work Settings/Clinic Specialties Professional Knowledge and Skills Follow up phone calls Imaging results Medication refills Patient Teaching Assessment Medication reconciliation Obtain Vital Signs Patient Health Questionnaire/History/Allergies Additional Skills Gastroenterology.

Preferred Skills/Experience: GI Experience. Nutritional - general knowledge of GI specific diets would be helpful. Skills: Authorization Forms* Chart Preparation* Disability forms* Insurance Verification* Referrals* Scheduling patient appointments* Cardiology* General Surgery* Infusion*

Required Credentials: Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past. Cert: BLS - Must be AHA (Instructor, Provider, or RQI) or “Heart&Stroke” certification from Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation only.

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: IBD IBS Ulcerative colitis Diarrhea Collecting data from consult, assist NP during visit. Phone triage Follow up care In basket.

Types of Patients on Unit: Adult Patient Population. Geriatrics.

Unit/Facility Details: This position is for an RN who will be working at a clinic supporting orders, med refills, patient triage, and education.

Special Requests: RTO must be listed at time of submission.
