Orientation Hours: 12 Hours
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Certified Respiratory Tech (CRT) Verification, Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Verification.
With call
Types of patients (adults, peds, and neonates?): Neonatal to geriatrics
What areas do they cover (Inpatient, Outpatient, ER, Rehab, Sleep Lab, etc.): Will cover all hospital areas
Experience or 'Must have' skills: Need to be able to work with all populations/ages, including neonatal
Level IV trauma center, stroke, trauma stabilization until patient can be transferred out. Assist with mec deliveries and any complicated neonatal delivery/c-section cases, routine RT treatments on med/surg floor, assist with EKGs. Ventilated patients are transferred out. Our ER sees 60+ patients a day and we deliver an average of 58 babies a month.
Would the traveler ever be the only RT in-house?: Yes
Open to blocked scheduling based on need // team scheduling.
Weekend Requirements: Rotating weekends
Holiday Requirements: Every other
Call or standby call requirement?: Call - 12hr call after shift worked
Scrubs: green, but Fridays, any color
RTO needed upfront - Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.
