Required Skills/Experience:

6 North Trauma Surgical Skills required: At least 1 year of trauma/surgical experience. Wound care, chest tubes, NGT, IV skills, medication administration/documentation and escalations

5 South Neuroscience Skills required: IV start, blood draws from central lines, trach care, PEG, NGT, Colostomy/Ostomy, Wound Care, Chest tube, Surgical Site Care, C-Collar, Abdominal Binders, Restraints

5 North MedSurg/Oncology: chemo experience high preferred Skills required: Trach care, chest tubes, PEG tubes, wound care, drains, foleys, IV starts; Chemo administration, if certified. Tele monitoring on hallway monitors and by tele techs on ground floor

4 South Clinical Decision Unit Skills required: Assessment, prioritization, communication and documentation skills. Tracheotomy care, Suctioning, O2 Therapy, ostomy care, Foley care, External catheter care, PEG/NGT care and use, wound care, chest tube, central line care, pressure ulcer management/preventive measures, falls prevention management, restraints.

3 South Orthopedics Skills required: PCA pumps, wound care (negative pressure dressing), dressing changes, foley, drains (hemovacs/JP drains)

3 North MS/Ortho/Urology Skills Required: Trach, wound care, wound vacs, IV starts, CVL dressing changes, follow nurse-driven foley protocol.

Unit/Facility Details: Parking deck only 2nd through 4th levels

Special Requests:

No RTO will be approved during the following dates: Thanksgiving: 11/26 - 11/30 Christmas / New Year’s: 12/21 - 1/1

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend rotation: Every other or 4 weekend days per month Holiday Expectations: One major and one minor seasonal holiday per policy Holiday Expectations: This does not mean they will automatically be scheduled for those dates, but we will not contractually guarantee to being off prior to arrival.

Floating Requirements: Any like unit/patient location (MS-MS, MS-ICU task, MS-ER/MS holds; ICU-ICU, ICU-MS task or limit of 3, ICU-ER/ICU holds)
