Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required from last 3 months.

12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience is required from last 3 months.

Experience with One Chart is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 charge/lead references from any number of months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Kansas license or compact license

Additional Details:

All jobs with a 12 hour schedule have the option of a 36 or 48 hour work week.

No Block Scheduling.

Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles. Candidates need to have employment separation for at least 6 months to be considered for a travel position.

In order to receive travel rate, clinician’s claimed residence must match address on drivers license. If local, clinician must agree to the lower local pay package to be submitted.

Driver License is required for RN/LPN/PTs working on a compact license.

Medical/surgical cardiovascular unit.

No drip titrations. Lab collects blood specimens. RNs start IVs but IV team available for additional support. No performing EKGs or discontinuing sheaths. Telemetry with remote monitoring.

Teaching hospital.

May float between 3 hospitals and 1 rehabilitation hospital.

Every other weekend requirements.
