Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 12 months of Cardiovascular Operating Room experience with 9 months within the past 12 months.

3 months of experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Open Heart and Cardiothoracic service line

Preferred Skills/Experience: Other service lines (Trauma, Gen, Gyn, Uro, Ortho, Neuro, Plastics etc)

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: CABG (with and without EVH)

Impellas, Pericardial windows, Valve replacements, ECMO

Equipment Used on Unit: Standard OR equipment

Unit/Facility Details: Number of Beds – 457 beds; 14 ORs (1 Open Heart Room; In process of coordinating for 2 Open Hearts)

There is no shift differential for AM/PM.

Shift & Scheduling: Call Assistance and holiday Call assistance

Floating Requirements: Staff will be floated to other ORs when no open hearts scheduled
