Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 18 months of Operating Room experience within the past 3 years.

3 months of experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from any number of months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a South Dakota license or compact license

Float experience does not count towards the unit experience requirement.

Shift & Schedule: With Call

Weekend requirements: Every 5th Weekend

Holiday requirements: Holiday call coverage as needed

Late Day requirements: 1-2 days per, depending

Call requirements: 1-2 night per week, depending

Call Response Time: 20 minutes

Patient Types / Types of Cases:

Ortho: is comfortable to totals (knee, hips and shoulders). We use Zimmer implants for all totals.

Gen: Lap Chole, Lap Appy, Colon resection and GI scopes (EGD, Colonoscopies)

ENT: Ear tube, T&As and simple sinus Urology: Stents, stones, Cryotherapy, Nephrectomies

OB: LAVHs, TAHs, Hysteroscopies, D&Cs C-section (would be great to have c-section experience)

Robotics: General and GYN cases

Previous Employment Requirement: No prior Avera or Sanford perm employees
