Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from any number of months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Indiana license or compact license

Certifications

BLS (Required)

Vaccinations

COVID vaccination required. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36

Weekend Hours: Every weekend (3 days are in a row: Fri, Sat., Sun or Sat. Sun. Mon. combo)

Call Requirements: None

Float Requirements: If unit census is low, other med/surg floors

Must Have Skills/Experience: EKG interpretation, IV starts and blood draws

Preferred Skillset/Experience: Willing to do charge on occasion, precept if needed

Type of Patients on Unit: Med/Surg, short stay

Dress Code: Scrub Color: Navy blue
