Required Skills / Experience: IV therapy/Phlebotomy, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Starting and maintaining IVs, Care of Ventilated Patient, Nasal Cannula, Oxygen administration, Oxygen tanks, Manage Cardiac drips- no titration, Titrate Cardiac drips, Titrate Vasoactive drips, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry -on the unit monitoring, Isolation Precautions, IV insulin protocols, Titration of Insulin drips, MS/Tele, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown

2 years of RN experience in med/surg and the candidate needs solid PCU foundation for success in role in blended unit

Preferred Skills / Experience: Previous Charge Experience

Preferred Skills: Accessing/Managing Ports, Arterial line management, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Phlebotomy, PICC line management, Chest tubes-Emerson/PleurEvac, External CPAP/BIPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Non-invasive airway management, Tracheostomy care/management, Feeding tube care and management, Heparin Protocols, Manage Vasoactive drips-no titration, PCA, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams, Wound Care/Wound Vac, Renal failure, Total Joint Replacements

Unit / Facility Details: Bed Side Shift Reporting (BSSR), utilization of AIDET, and hourly rounding are required for this unit and all RN units.

Barcode scanning must be 95% to be eligible for an extension

Proof of Identification: Drivers License/State ID

Shift & Scheduling: Facility will accept either 3x12’s or 4x12’s

Call required as needed
