Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

24 months of Operating Room experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must have a North Dakota license or compact license

No Block Scheduling.

Must complete both an OR and a Neuro ICU skills checklist to apply.

Guaranteed Hours 40

Schedule:

Shifts will rotate between 0630-1500, 0900-1700, 1100-1900, and call shifts which are 1100-1900 with call to follow.
No nights or weekend call. Travelers are expected to run a room with resources available.

Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept: 25 OR suites. 75 to 100 cases per day on average

Required skills and minimum years of experience:

Experience with General surgical cases, GYN, Urology, laparoscopic.
Neuro/Ortho procedures, experience with navigation.

Large hospital experience - 250 plus beds with level 1 trauma status

Experience working in acute facility with 25 or more OR suites. Outpatient center experience will not be a match.

Experience with robotics

Registered nurses for this request do need to have prior ortho/neuro experience.

Must have strong general and well rounded experience in cases including ENT.

Dress Code: Surgical attire provided. No acrylic nails at all, must be completely bare and natural.
