If you have a multistate license, you will be required to complete a 1-time 6-hour suicide prevention training according to WA state regulations.
Required Skills/Experience: Skills required
• ICU - Cardiac rhythm interpretation, vent and bipap management, invasive line management, ostomy, general drains, traches, chest tubes, lumbar drains, IV medication titration.
• PCU – PICC lines, Access ports, Cardiac rhythm interpretation, bipap management, IV medication titration, PCA’s, traches, chest tubes, general drains, ostomies, lumbar drains (rarely), PCU travelers are not required to take vented patients (updated 11/30/21).
Required Credentials: NURSYS.
Unit/Facility Details: 27 PCU Beds.
Special Requests: Any RTO or special requests not included on your application will NOT be considered. Time off: It is okay to approve up to 5 days off, but manager is required for more than 5 days.
Shift & Scheduling: Scheduling:
• Will be added to the existing schedule when you first arrive, and you will be plugged into whatever holes are existing in the schedule. Following that schedule, you will be placed in more of a pattern schedule on future schedules.
• No Call Required
• Overtime is available
Floating Requirements: Floating:
• ICU: ICU, CVICU, Neuro Trauma ICU, PCU, ACC (Neuro/Trauma PCU), ED Holding.
• ICU doesn’t float to Med/Surg (with possible rare exception).
• PCU: PCU, ACC (Neuro/Trauma PCU), Med/Surg, ED Holding.
