Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 12 months of Intensive Care Unit experience within the past 12 months.

Experience with Paragon is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Washington license or compact license

Additional Details:

A minimum of 1 year acute care experience is required to work in acute care facilities. The following are considered acute care facilities: Hospital (General Acute Care as well as Psychiatric, Specialized and Rehabilitation Hospitals, and Long Term Acute Care or LTAC), and Ambulatory Care Facilities.

If you have a multistate/compact nursing license, you will be required to complete a one time 6 hour suicide prevention training according to the WA state regulations. (Nursing positions only)

Shift & Scheduling: • Weekend Hours: every other weekend • Call Requirements: none

Equipment Used on Unit: • Equipment: IABP (occasionally)

Types of Patients on Unit: • Patient Population e.g. “geriatric, adult, peds, etc.”: Medical ICU with minimal cardiac

Preferred Skills/Experience: Preferred Skillset/Experience: Medical ICU

Required Credentials: have ACLS or some type of rhythm interpretation course
