Shift & Scheduling: Must be available for OT shifts as needed. Traveler may need to be scheduled for on call.
Required Skills/Experience: Level 2 or greater NICU experience required. Traveler will need greater than 3 years of level 3 NICU experience with competency in high frequency ventilation, nitric oxide, heliox, neonatal intubation, neonatal ventilator management, bubble CPAP, heated high flow for the neonate, neonatal arterial puncture and delivery attendance.
Preferred Skills/Experience: NICU transport experience preferred.
Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: The practice includes the application of technology and the use of treatment protocols across all care sites, including but not limited to the application and monitoring of medical gases and environmental control systems, mechanical ventilatory support, artificial airway care, bronchopulmonary hygiene, pharmacological agents related to respiratory care procedures, cardiopulmonary rehab, hemodynamic cardiovascular support.
Floating Requirements: Traveler will need to float to all areas adult critical care and neonatal critical care.
